Is your dog ruling your life?
“There’s Hope!”
Let Mark German, America’s Dog
Whisperer, show you how to be the
leader of your pack!
America's Dog Whisperer, Mark German, MBA, is a man with a serious mission. Recently profiled on Good Morning, Arizona and the Pat McMahon Show, Mark is working to get the word out to all dog owners:
There’s Hope!© He
would like to bring this awareness
to everyone who loves their dog
but struggles with out-of-control
behaviors like jumping, barking,
lunging, aggression, and shyness.
There is no dog Mark won’t work
with – “as long as the owner is
willing to change.” He believes
that practicing a calm energy with
your dog is the first step to
taking back control. At his
symposiums, he points to
statistics that show most people
give up their dogs because of
behavior issues, and he would like
to change that. Mark feels that if
people treated their dogs,
like…well dogs, most behavioral
issues would subside. That’s not
to say he thinks we shouldn’t be
affectionate with our pets. Mark
advises that owners follow The Four Essentials to a Stable Dog©.
“I know of people who can’t even
have guests over to their house
because of unruly dogs. I can show
people how to change that and get
their lives back.” IT'S NOT HARD, JUST DIFFERENT!
Mark has been training owners and
rehabilitating their dogs for over
14 years. “It’s all about the
energy” is his mantra.
“It is frustrating to see people
who work with dogs, obedience
trainers, handlers, humane society
employees, veterinarians and
staff, and even some
‘behaviorists’, treat dogs in a
way that is detrimental to the
dog’s state of mind. It’s neither
constructive nor necessary to get
angry or mean with dogs. Nor
is it necessary to sedate dogs or
put dogs on "DOGGIE PROZAC"!
That just covers up the issues. If
your "trainer" or "veterinarian"
cannot change the dog's behavior,
then they should refer you to
someone who CAN!
Leadership is about using one’s
energy to stay in control, not
man-handle a dog. We must remain
calm and remember that we are
always teaching our dogs our rules
not training them.”
America’s Dog Whisperer, Mark
German, MBA is available for
private consultations, group
demonstrations, and symposiums to
help any organization learn how to
rehabilitate and handle dogs
properly. He also presents
mini-seminars to teach children
how to remain calm when faced with
a stray or seemingly dangerous
unsupervised dog.
In his book,
There’s Hope! Mark focuses on:

who want to become Dog Whisperers

dog whisperers” he asserts. Mark’s

Agent/Manager for Mark German, America's Dog Whisperer
Mark lives in Chino Valley. AZ and has been rehabilitating dogs and teaching their owners for over 14 years. Mark and I both travel around the country training whisperers so that when we leave, there is a competent and capable dog whisperer to remain behind and help the dogs in that area. When Mark is traveling, there unfortunately is no one left to help the dogs there until he returns. We want to change that. If you are interested in becoming a whisperer, Mark and I would be able to train you personally in your home area of Dallas, and you could then have your own business, helping dogs and their owners, while earning a nice income.
Mark is incredible and has rehabilitated thousands of dogs thus far. He understands that there is a genuine need for trained whisperers around the country and since no one gifted enough to work with "bad dogs" is willing to "give up" his or her secrets, Mark decided that he would share his gifts and talents with others in order to help as many dogs and their owners as possible. Thus, Mark and I journey from place to place to teach others how to whisper.
Upon completion of the course and training, the trainee will receive the certification at level 1, and be able to begin working with clients himself, always contacting either Mark or me for any questions that arise BEFORE there is a problem. Everything each whisperer says and does MUST be EXACTLY as Mark teaches it. There is no "ad libbing" around dogs, or the whisperer or someone else may be in harm's way; adhering strictly to Mark's syllabus and techniques keeps everyone safe, and ensures that the techniques are being used properly to help the dogs. Everything must be just as Mark teaches it.
Since Mark and I will be available to train a few more whisperers this year, we have already begun scheduling our whisperer training sessions for 2009. As of this time, we do have the availability of the a number of territories and are able to train a few more Whisperers in the calendar year of 2008. Please let me know if you have a genuine interest in training to be a Whisperer since we can obviously select only one or two Whisperers in each location. The training will be done according to your schedule, within reason.
Please feel free to contact me for any additional information or any questions you may have.

I need a good home

Tara's Babies Animal Welfare was born in the floodwaters of New Orleans in the days following Hurricane Katrina when a small group of volunteers, horrified by the situation, went to help in the animal rescue effort. Working on their own, and in cooperation with Best Friends, they were part of the massive round-the-clock pet rescue effort. At the same time, a small team in Arizona quickly built emergency pet shelters. Over 130 dogs and cats were either driven or airlifted to this new sanctuary on former ranch land outside Payson, Arizona. With the support of countless volunteers and generous donors, the animals were cared for with constant love and kindness.
